Our log cottages are equipped with all modern facilities to provide
you with an economical approach to your vacation under our housekeeping plan...
(which means you're the cook!)
Each cabin has a living room and dining area, and is heated with a furnace or fireplace.
The modern kitchens have gas stoves, electric refrigerators, cooking utensils and
dishware.
The bathrooms have bathtubs and showers.
The cabins can sleep 2,4,6, or 8 people, with 2 single beds in each bedroom.
All linens are supplied.
Each cabin has a screened in porch, with enclosed sitting
areas for you and your family to enjoy on quiet evenings... We feature many other
small conveniences for your pleasure, such as special fish-cleaning sites, an outdoor
fireplace and picnic tables for cookouts, and we have hunting and fishing licenses
available at our lodge.
Our central location overlooking the
stream gives you the convenience of a short walk to the lake for a boat-ride, fishing, or
a swim at the public beach; or to the village store which can supply any food, fishing
tackle, or hunting equipment. We are also just a short distance from the local church.
Many of our guests bring their own boats
and motors, (most lakes have a public
landing available); but for those who do not,
we offer boats and motors for rent,
for those individuals who wish
to guide themselves.
If you wish,
we can also engage the services of a professional guide for you. This includes boat
rental (20' Grand Lake Canoe), Motor, gas, cooking your shore lunch, and a knowledge of
the area to provide the type of fishing or hunting you desire.
