The golden yellow foliage of white birch and scarlet red of sugar maple provide a perfect and beautiful backdrop to our October bird season.

We are located on the Atlantic Flyway for migratory birds which provides the upland game hunter with an abundance of Woodcock and other game-birds.

Our Alder growths and open fields are some bird's popular stop-over areas, and provide the hunter and his dog with a very enjoyable experience. Equally plentiful are partridge (Ruffed Grouse) and an extensively mixed bag is very common.

Professional Guide services are available right on the premises. John Arcaro (Camp Owner) is a Registered Master Maine Guide and is a Professional Outdoorsman. The logo on the left signifies that He is Certified by the State of Maine.

Other guides who have their own dogs and know the best spots in this area are available also, if you so desire.

November finds a chill in the air, and it is time to bag our major big game animal, the White-tailed Deer. Our runner-up, the Black Bear, is also abundant in this area and is in season.

Old logging trails and heavy cedar growths are the popular areas to hunt. Because of the vastness of our timber areas, interference from other hunters is usually rare.

Shots tend to be close, so a shotgun can be used as well as the more popular rifle. Our deer feed well, and a chance at a real trophy is a very good possibility!
